treating you from head to toe

Women’s Health

our role is to help you feel more at ease in your body and more confident in your ability to manage your pain and wellbeing.

We offer skilled, thoughtful care that meets you where you are and supports where you want to go.

How do we work?

As osteopaths, we specialise in helping people manage and move beyond chronic or recurring pain. Whether your pain has lasted for months or keeps coming back over the years, we aim is to support you with hands-on care and a personalised approach that takes your full experience into account.

Pain can touch every part of life—how you work, sleep, move, and feel. That’s why we don’t just focus on the sore spot. We look at how your whole body functions, how different areas interact, and what might be contributing to overload or strain. Through careful assessment, gentle treatment, and collaborative goal-setting, we help people not only feel better but understand their bodies more clearly.

The treatment techniques we use vary depending on what you need. This might include soft tissue work to release tension, joint mobilisations to improve range of motion, or cranial or visceral techniques to support overall balance. We might also look at posture, breathing, ergonomics, or simple exercises to support your progress between visits.

Our practice is rooted in empathy, education, and empowerment. We listen carefully, explain clearly, and treat with respect. Whether you're dealing with ongoing back pain, persistent neck tension, headaches, or more complex pain patterns, we’ll work together to create a plan that makes sense for you, practically and personally.

Many of our patients come to us after trying other approaches or feeling stuck with recurring issues. Some are managing pain alongside other health challenges, while others want to get back to doing what they love without discomfort. Whatever your story, you are welcome here.

Who will i see?

Ben Adams, Osteopath wearing a blue suit with a subtle check pattern, a light blue dress shirt, and an orange tie, posed against a dark grey background.

Hi, I’m Ben Adams. I am an experienced Osteopath and lecturer, I offer comprehensive osteopathic care to patients in the Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire region.

I specialise in long term and reoccurring pain particularly of the neck and back. I'm passionate about helping people who have gone through lots of different treatment types with no or limited success. If that sounds like you, please  book an appointment or get in touch

With extensive clinical, lecturing, and tutoring experience, I'm dedicated to providing comprehensive care and personalised treatment plans to patients.

I am also Head of Applied Learning at the Institute of Classical Osteopathy, and a Senior Lecturer. I teach across the UK and Europe, supporting osteopaths at all stages of their careers through postgraduate education.

My work is driven by a strong interest in the relationship between mechanics, physiology, and how we teach and learn effectively. I am particularly passionate about finding clear, practical ways to communicate the complex principles of classical osteopathy—making them both clinically relevant and grounded in real-world reasoning. My teaching approach emphasises critical thinking, continuity of osteopathic tradition, and the application of core concepts to everyday practice.

Outside of osteopathy, I’m a certified scuba diver and a dedicated supporter of Saracens rugby team.

I have a particular interest and specialism in women’s health, and I’m passionate about supporting women through the many physical changes that can come with life from managing your monthly cycle, stages of pregnancy, postpartum recovery, menopause, and beyond. Whether you are experiencing pelvic pain, postural changes, fatigue, or simply need support in reconnecting with your body, I offer gentle, effective care that honour where you are right now.

My patients come from all walks of life, from busy professionals and new mums to athletes and those managing chronic conditions. What they share is a desire to move with more freedom and to feel understood and supported in their health journey.

Outside of clinic life, I love being outdoors and spend as much time as I can paddleboarding, walking by the water, and enjoying the quiet that nature brings. I’m also a keen home cook, I find great joy in nourishing meals, shared with family and friends, and in the creativity that comes with experimenting in the kitchen

TRUSTED BY OUR PATIENTS

“I have suffered from tight hamstrings for decades and have previously unsuccessfully tried numerous different types of therapy to increase my flexibility. I had only 3 sessions with Ben and the difference in my range of movement has been nothing short of incredible. I would thoroughly recommend Ben as Osteopath.”

Peter Hamer

“I had spent quite a lot of money on Physio over several months which had not helped my Sciatica at all. Then I was recommended to see Ben and almost immediately I had pain relief. Over several more sessions the pain got less and less until I hardly noticed it anymore. Brilliant!”
